beginning of the 1800 century, the Secretary of that time has given the following as his
translation of the lines
W.M’S Chair ”Here we mutually give and receive Peace by turns” S.W’s Chair ”It divides the highest and lowest by law of justice” J.W’s Chair ”Beyond and within which bounds Propriety cannot step”
